Yesterday I had the awesome opportunity to receive an email
from someone who had read my blog. I don’t
know this person, but they stared that they had read my blog, like it, and were
inspired. Now I had hoped that this would
happen, but I wasn’t sure if my thoughts would ever be something that would
actually help others. This made me think
about the starfish story. Watch it!
I know that it will take time to impact the world, but who
ever said that in order to make a difference I have to help the whole world,
helping one person is helping the world.
I challenge you to look at your life and see who you are helping without
even being totally aware. You never know
how your kind words may make someone’s day, or how a hug can change a person’s
week.
As you have probably read, I was in LA this past weekend
with some amazing people. Last night a
bunch of us were on facebook and talking about what we are doing and how we are
making progress. I thanked one of the
guys who posted a tweet about me, and we had some very wise words “we are
better together.” We are better together
– we are better together. Take a step to
help us become better together. I am not
saying you need to go find a cure for world hunger- but can totally smile at
someone. Just look around today and
think about how you could impact that persons life – and if you are really
brave ask people how you inspire them.
You can make a difference, I know you can. You can change the world one person at a time
because we are all better together.
You have it all & Confidence
